Takeaway "Cereal / Oats Prawns" tonight coz that was cooked by Disy in the finals of the #masterchefau 2017. Of course @diana.chan.au did a more salivating version. Hahahaha Who watched it too?
For a while, I thought I was in #australia ! They sell A2 milk now in Singapore! Now I wonder if they will bring in A2 Infant formula too. Hehe....
Who needs one of these now? 6:38 pm, 31 C but the weather app says it feels like 38 C.
Visited the #skygreens vertical farm that's located right here in Singapore. Wow, am I impressed by the scaling heights of the farm! Veggies are planted in planter boxes and grow in structure that rotates like the 'Singapore Flyer', but at a slower rotation speed. One rotation takes 16 hours to complete. It's also the 'cleanest' farm around. Jack Ng, the founder was an engineer that turned farmer. One of their most popular veg is Nai Bai. I got to see how they are harvested. No squatting needed when you harvest the veggies as the racks can be quickly rotated to your height level during harvesting. The veggies are also very clean, not much soil residue coz of their planting method. You just need a quick rinse when you buy them. Here you see the person harvesting and weighing the veggies then packing it straight to the bag. The veggies are sold exclusively at @FairpriceSG. So if you want to try then, you know where to find it. I like them quickly stir fried with lots of garlic. Yum yum.... Have you tried Sky Greens veggies before?
Wah.... Robot. Probably can't afford this at home. What can it do? Saw this at one of the new lab at @NUSComputing at @NUS_singapore.
So Agnes likes cheese 🧀.......
The table is enjoying both the cold and grilled version of this.
Sunday arvo with the little human, wifey and long time no see friends. Yummy afternoon ahead!
Wondered how the #pasar range of veggies from @FairpriceSG get to you? I had a #fairprice Insiders peek into one of the farm that grow their veggies. It takes more than 1 month to grow most veggies, lots of work and patience, so don't waste your veggies! A super speed video to show you the process from seeding, planting, growing and parking. Enjoy!
Wondering what can I do with this in Singapore.....
Colleague's lunch today. Oven Roasted Holland Crackling Pork Belly. His heart went BEDOK, BEDOK because the Crackling was really really KRANJI. He said he heard the pork telling him, I'm AL-JU-NIED. Sure or not? HOUGANG your food can talk to you one? He said EUNOS, some people have the ability, especially if you are a LAVENDAR. Huh? Sure or not? Maybe their brain wrong side. No, he doesn't stay in YISHUN. Anyway, you probably can get a similar dish all DOVER the place, but this one at 5 Senses quite good lah, you won't get that SENGKANG feeling like some other places. You can come here by the downtown line, stop at KING ALBERT PARK.
Chocolate Lava Cake.
Either your best friend or your worse enemy. Haha. Friend or foe for you?
LittleHuman's multi racial snacks she brought back from the school's Racial Harmony Day.
The Mrs has been wanting to try this and she bought it tonight for dinner. Lobster Seafood Soup from FreshGeneration at the Bukit Timah Market. The soup is pretty delicious. Lobster is a lil on the small side, 2 whole lobsters cut into 4 halves. Plus 9 prawns, clams and fish slices. ($58!!!) Next time we'll try the more affordable fish slices soup which is $5, now that the cravings is satisfied. While waiting for the food to be prepared the Mrs asked the stall lady some questions because she found the lady familiar. Both soon chat like old time market aunties..... coz the folks from @FreshGenerationSeafoodSoup used to be the Zhi Char operator near our place!!! (Super super long ago) No wonder both sides found each other familiar. Wonder next we order fish soup, will get more fish or not?
The current ❤️ in our home is indulging in Soya Sauce chicken. We can cook it at home in a Thermomix but we are tired or to put it nicely, we are researching how others do it. The 'Michelin star' version has a herby aroma which we liked the most. This version is quite good too! So tender and aromatic.
Reviewing the #bosch Condenser Dryer. A major different from the previous dryer we used is that there's no exhaust vent/pipe out of the house. It also saves electricity! With the many drying choices, we realised 'Sportswear' option is good for baby pillows and those soft beads pillows too!
These few days, whanever someone ask, what you want to eat? The default is "Nasi Lemak"! Tonight's dinner.
Ayam Panggang, not Nasi Lemak. Don't know why the queue is so long today. Uni haven't started what.... (Engineering Canteen, @NUS_Singapore) $3.30 only.
Last evening's sky. Fluffy!
