Made up a veggie stew with dumplings 🥕 here is a skeleton on what it initally looked like. it has onion, zucchini, carrot, swede, celery and potato. Hoping tastes good! . . Great progress today for #linkingray Breakfast was his 3-in-1 (#health y fats, protein, fruits and veggies) shake and Pbnj on whole wheat w/ fresh strawberries. Lunch was quinoa with veggies and grilled chicken. Dinner was butternut squash noodles with spinach and the basil we grew. He also had a hand in making his meal and I ate the same things so he knows that we are on the same page. #health shouldn't be a once a year resolution or a goal when you feel terrible about your body. It should be an everyday lifestyle and my job is to make sure it is Linkin's lifestyle. #Mysunshinemoment

I saw 2 lovely new clients on Sat, both women told me they wanted to tone up, reduce body fat and feel better in their clothes - ohhhhh YAYYYYY! Instantly I felt like it was Christmas! It's so refreshing to hear women say that and not be obsessed with reaching a certain number on the scales, which isn't a true measure of progress! The irony is that both these women will see a reduction in body fat much faster than someone who is weighing themselves every 5 mins and stressing about that silly number on the scales! I posted this a while back but wanted to post it again as it's a good reminder. What would you have done at 6.30pm?? 🤔 Freaked out at the 2.5kg gain since 5am that morning and skipped dinner??? Or realised it meant nothing and got stuck into making a delicious meal?! I NEVER weigh myself but jumped on the scales to show you how weight can fluctuate throughout the day due to a large number of reasons: water/food intake, salt, hormones, menstrual cycle, exercise (sweat), lack of glycogen (carbs), bowel movements and sickness just to name a few. Remember the number on the scales represents nothing more than YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GRAVITY. It's physiologically impossible to gain 2.5kg of body fat in a day/overnight. When tracking progress look at the bigger picture, see how your clothes fit, measure body fat or take weekly physical measurements.
